Orchids are wildly popular where I live. Grocery and drug stores sell them year-round. When we visit friends, we often take an orchid with us as a housewarming gift, and the favor is returned to us several times a year.
Once the blooms fall off, I usually plant the remains somewhere in the yard where it grows but rarely blooms again. There is one orchid that was pretty large and in a nice pot. I set it off to the side where it lived on rainwater and the lawn sprinklers for years and years. Probably at least ten years or more. This spring, it bloomed! I was so surprised. And not once, but twice. This is a photo of the first bloom, which I created as a piece of art for display. I was going for the provocative as opposed to the delicate qualities of the orchard.
It will be stunning printed on Kodak Endura Metallic (Kodak Metallic) and will also present nicely when printed on canvas or as a canvas wrap.
